INNOVA 40H PLATE MOUNTING TAPE
The INNOVA 40H Flexographic Plate Mounting Tape is a high adhesive and soft version for label printing ensuring ideal printing results even for complex and long print runs. This Plate Mounting Tape has a thickness of 0.38mm.
Adhesion properties for INNOVA 40H
It is the right choice for all printing cylinders. Because it will hold the plates down and enables plate and tape removal at the same time. Especially if you are using a thin printing plate like 1.14mm.
Printing properties for INNOVA 40H
The choice of the appropriate hardness depends primarily on the ink coverage of the printing plate. Fine lines and ink coverage up to 20% require a soft Plate Mounting Tape like Innova 40H, but for anything above 20%, We recommended using Innova 41H. Innova 40H is one level softer than the Innova 41H. However, we also suggest taking a look at the printing plate type. Hard printing plates may require a soft tape, While other factors are the substrate and ink viscosity. On uncoated paper, for example, soft tapes will provide the best results. But with most label stock filmic materials, it is safer to go with a medium hardness like Innova 41H. As you know, Flexo Printing has few standards; we recommend a fingerprint test. A fingerprint test is the most scientific way to get to the right combination.
General recommendations for INNOVA 40H Mounting Tape.
